I provide therapy services to individuals and couples who may be experiencing a broad range of difficulties, including:
Anxiety (e.g., generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, panic attacks)
Grief & Loss
Post-Traumatic Stress or Complex Trauma (e.g., repeated trauma exposure during childhood or adolescence, or through employment activities)
Relationship Challenges (e.g., with family, friends, and/or intimate partners)
Stressful Life Transitions (e.g., parenting, retirement, career changes, divorce/separation, changes in health)
Appointments can be made directly without the need for a referral. In our first session, we will discuss your reasons for attending therapy and work to identify your treatment goals. I will offer some ideas of how therapy could help you and what our work might include if you choose to continue with treatment. Our first meeting is an important opportunity for you and I to determine if I would be a good fit for you and your goals.
My fee is $190 per 50-minute session. I accept payment via cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Please note that I do not accept payment by debit or credit. Receipts are issued upon payment.
Extended Health & Medical Care Coverage
Most psychological services are covered by extended health care plans, though the extent of coverage varies from plan to plan. Please check with your individual insurance provider for more information. I do not offer direct billing to insurance providers at this time. Instead, clients will be provided with a receipt that they may submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement. Although psychology services are not covered by BC’s Medical Services Plan, they are tax deductible as a medical expense.
