I am a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of BC (CPBC #2409). I obtained my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Simon Fraser University and completed my clinical residency with Eastern Health in St John’s, Newfoundland.
I have training and experience in various treatment methods and offer a flexible, integrated, client-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and supportive environment that allows you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and others. I also work with you to develop the tools and skills necessary to make meaningful change in your life and to move you towards your treatment goals.
I consider myself a lifelong student and actively seek opportunities for growth and development, including attending conferences and workshops, reading emerging theory and up-to-date research, and engaging in regular consultation with colleagues. I maintain membership to several professional organizations, including the Canadian Psychological Association and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
