I am a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of BC (CPBC #2409).  I obtained my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Simon Fraser University and completed my residency training with Eastern Health in St John’s, Newfoundland.  Having received training in various treatment methods, I offer a flexible, integrated, client-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, open, and supportive environment that allows my clients to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others while taking steps towards their treatment goals.

Therapeutic approaches that I draw upon include:

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy

  • Gestalt Therapy

  • Interpersonal Therapy

  • Mindfulness

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

Treatment groups that I have co-facilitated include:

  • Introduction to Anxiety Management

  • Integrated Anxiety Treatment and Management for Adults

  • Establishing Healthy Relationships for Complex Trauma Survivors

  • Intimate Relationships for Individuals with Complex Trauma

  • Trauma Survival and Recovery

I actively seek opportunities for professional growth and development, including attendance at conferences and workshops, keeping up-to-date with current research, and engaging in regular consultation with colleagues.  I maintain membership to several organizations, including the Canadian Psychological Association and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
